Hydrogen Fuel Cells
Hydrogen fuel cells are fuel sources that are used in some modes of transportation. These fuel cells are highly efficient and produce less emission because hydrogen is regarded as the cleanest source of energy. A car that runs in hydrogen fuel cells will only emit water. When a car runs primarily of hydrogen fuel cells, there are no moving parts required since energy processing is near finished. The efficiency of hydrogen fuel cell powered engines is because of its increased level of combustion. Fuel is not yet compact therefore the combustion is not as strong. With hydrogen fuel cells, combustion is increased significantly. More energy is produced in the process.
Hydrogen fuel cells are used to increase fuel efficiency in cars. There is a misconception that hydrogen is actually a fuel source. Hydrogen is just used to increase the combustion level which increases the level of energy that comes from fuel. The fuel is practically exhausted that no emission is left. Hydrogen fuel cells on the other hand produce a by product
–water. There are even companies who claims that their by products are clean enough to drink. Although development of hydrogen fuel cell is not applied to every car, it is slowly catching up and would eventually be implemented everywhere.
